Practice American college classroom norms such as taking turns, agreeing/disagreeing, asking for clarification, and participating in groups.

Analyze speaker attitude.

Use collocations to express ideas.

Practice note-taking skills using guided notes and charts.

Use academic and informal language in presentations and discussions.

Practice the use of intonation, prominence, and pausing to create meaning.
